The Sako TRG-21 was designed by Sako to be the most accurate rifle you can buy. While it would be a pain in the neck to try and prove this, I would have to say that it is definitely in the running among the best sniper rifles in the world. The rifle is commonly seen in long range competition where it has done very well. The TRG-41 is chambered in the outstanding high power .338 Lapua, which effectively extends the range of the rifle out beyond 1100 meters. (In the right hands, the range can approach a mile)
In 1999 the TRG-21/41 was replaced by the new TRG-22 and TRG-42. These rifles have a new stock design that has a little better contour. They also have some other minor changes and improvements, helping to further refine this excellent rifle.
